Based on the full Farsight ethos (and a number of corroborating whistleblowers) we're sort of like specimens being gestated to become full demons. Not a comfortable idea but one worth contemplating if we're gonna take all this seriously.

We look at human history and start to realize the abomination we're becoming. But we blame ourselves exclusively and turn to some higher authority to better us. That some higher authority is the same perpetrator with yet again a different mask, just further engineering us into more the abomination we want to avoid.
