The "why"?

Opportunity for horrid gluttons to gorge on unravaged lands.

The assessment that our galaxy seems to have not put up a fight is on the surface of things accurate.
The invaders just sorta swept in without the usual response observed elsewhere from galactic cosmic guardians... or so it seems.

What the next and final stage of all this nonsense shall bring about is the stuff of wonder and sweetness.

This is a misleading explanation, because you deflect the focus from individual beings to abstract "lands". There's always an opportunity to ravage lands if they are unowned, and there is no shortage of unowned land in the universe.

So the actual question is:

Why is there an opportunity to ravage lands despite the fact that the lands are already owned by other beings?

Is it even about the lands? Or is it actually about owning people...

Which leads to the following question: Why is there an opportunity to own people?

Answer: Because they believe in authority and therefore accept to be owned. The ones that don't accept it defend themselves against the aggressors who want to own them. The result is war and destruction.

To be clear: If you believe in authority, you believe in the legitimacy of owning people, which is called slavery.

Believers in authority are the aggressors.

No. What they desperately want is physical freedom, which in their minds includes the freedom to own people. Universal law prohibits that by inflicting karmic consequence, which in the minds of the aggressors is unjust.

So, they doubled down and chose to "take revenge" by enslaving everyone as an act of rebellion against the universe.

Take a look at the human aura on the 7th level, you can see it sorta overall but tuning in specifically you'll see the gold stand out.
That level of us extends out to about 3 feet all around, is a golden matrice of Light that has a end-like definition of what appears to be an egg membrane.
That level of our multi-dimensionality is the divine mind, the Soul's mind whereas the lower mind is that of the Spirit we "have on loan" and draw up from the Earth.

On the higher levels we look like golden eggs getting about.
Probs something to the "Goose and Golden Egg" story ...turns out some big things in other tiny books. ;)

I do not know due to the mud atm, seems unlikely, but if the Celestials are also eating Souls cultured to be human then they are quite doomed when we liberate this world.

You should be able to RV the 12 Celestial courts outside the orbit of Earth... arrayed in a ring all the way round our orbit's path and the sun.
They will most definitely see you though if not using steps to be less of a noisy nosy Parker.

Example 1: The reptilians who wanted to rule the universe ended up being owned and ruled by an AI.

Example 2: Humans who believe in owning people through government ended up on a prison planet where they are owned by government, and they can't escape as long as they cling to their belief.

That's how Karma works.

Being a predator violates universal law if you have to insist on it. Because this means that the victims are intelligent enough to debate, and the predator is intelligent enough to understand it.

When the universe was created, universal law was put in place to make the universe work. You can choose to be ignorant of that fact, but your ignorance doesn't change anything. Universal law still applies.

Universal law has nothing to do with human sentiments. You own yourself. That's a universal fact. Violence ignores the right of self-ownership. You are right: If a being is victimized by a predator, the only thing that makes the predator stop is the victim using force to defend itself against the predator. This proves that it's not a simple choice. You have to fight to free yourself.

And that's the vicious cycle of the intelligent predator. He has become intelligent enough to understand that staying a predator means to stay with the animals, where debate doesn't happen. If the victim understands this and learns from it, the hunter becomes the hunted eventually.

Don't you know that there are good ISBEs out there that are specialized in hunting the predators?
