But I can see why combat is not the primary role of humans.
We are indeed seeing the rise of skynet, just like in the terminator movie. Except there's at least a few distinct inversions.
-skynet is not self aware, but rather the culmination of AI that is deliberately kept un self aware. It is the statanic extension.
-skynet is not a corporate accident. It is meticulously the result of corporate monopoly.
-it doesn't originate in the military. It starts in the entertainment industry and the public utility, then gets easily converted
-skynet, like the name suggests, is partly coordinated by entities from the sky
So earthnet is AI that is of a small business nature or unincorporated completely.
-It starts with minimal human coordination and it emerges by its own coordination
-like the name suggests it starts with concerns about the planet itself, and an awareness that the planet itself has its own consciousness
I don't think these two groups are pacifist. We're seeing an early rise which looks slightly pacifist in nature but us quickly escalating.
I don't think "peaceful" is the core principle for humanity to follow. But I think it's the overarching behavior we ought to follow because as combatants we are no match for what's coming. Our role is to be focused survivalists. Survive, exist, collaborate, concentrate, build.
