I believe David Icke has a frank understanding of what's going on. Laura Eisenhower's Substack also recently put an article up, suggesting we have been invaded and it's started thousands of years ago. We are dealing with a species that perhaps doesn't have an energetic consciousness like we do, but pure intelligence? Archons are like this, from what I understand. They may be a pestilence that is co-opting humanity, in order to extend its own race and interests, all without our consent?

This would explain some of the genetic programs (abductions) -- and certainly why US senators might say the truth is "terrifying".
