Another Trump ego-bullshit. Like the renaming of oceans, rivers and lakes. The majority of the world will ignore that. -Even Google just writes (Gulf of America) in brackets behind "Gulf of Mexico" in Gmaps. That stuff will be reversed after Trump leaving office. This term "SI" is also even more inaccurate than AI -the real term what Trump meant is "ASI"
Superintelligence has a double meaning, even in English. Example: "She believes that a superintelligence is the best explanation for the origin of life." "They were interested in the search for extraterrestrial superintelligence."
And nearly all books and websites are using "AI" -the stuff AI is learning from. And Trump says: "... the term virtually everyone else is using, or will be." -What a joke! (And also a lie -slightly relativized by projecting it also into the future). There will be many people, who will not use this term SI, just because of Trump wants everybody to use it.

I asked Google for an estimate:
For every 1 mention of Superintelligence, there are roughly 150 to 200 mentions of AI/KI across the global web index.

Estimated Web Presence:
AI: High Multi-Billion Page Footprint (~15–25%)
Superintelligence (SI / ASI): Low-Niche Micro Footprint (<0.2%)
Context of Use
AI: Practical, commercial, omnipresent everyday tech.
SI/ASI: Theoretical, philosophical, and recent policy rebranding.
