With all the recent changes we're seeing (imagine what we don't see), including massive rollouts of datacenters, blockchain currency and markets, exposing political weaknesses everywhere and some of the recent international affairs -- I wonder if we're looking at the framework for AI (or AI-assisted) governance being put into place.
Making human politics look weak, problematic could be a use-case justification -- problem/reaction/solution.
If so, we could be looking at very big changes -- things operating on algorithms, jobs loss (some gained) and a Universal Basic Income which will create both dependency and acceptance of this new system by its nature. If you don't accept it, you'll end up on Little House on the Prairie (sorta).
The question of Disclosure feels more at risk now. There is a lot of doubt (re: recent US politics and election).
I hope Farsight will offer some specific commentary on these matters.
