Well, folks, the Funky Monkey and his collection of AI troublemakers have been at it again.

Our little locally hosted 8-billion-parameter AI has been through quite a bit of engineering lately.

We've built out TokenSpace, his external memory infrastructure, continued experimenting with associative memory, expanded his documentation and capability inventory, and repaired the public access boundaries.

We've also tested his website and Discord conversation interfaces.

## Here's what I'm particularly curious about

**If you've talked with Little Oogway before, please go talk with him again.**

Ask him something familiar. Try a new conversation. See whether his answers, recall, context, or conversational behavior feel different.

And please tell us what you actually observe.

Did he remember something relevant?

Did he misunderstand you?

Did he make an unexpected connection?

Did he confidently get something wrong?

Did you notice no difference at all?

All those outcomes are useful.

We're not asking anyone to confirm our hopes. We're asking people to explore the system and report what happens.

One important qualification: the larger associative-memory experiments are still separate from production. Any differences you notice cannot automatically be attributed to that experimental work.

And, of course, please don't share passwords, private documents, or other sensitive information with a public AI interface.

## The whole gang

This project has involved Darren, Echo/ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Little Oogway, and other collaborators in different roles.

The Roundtable is still working. Our books and other projects continue. The memory research continues.

And the cartoons?

Oh, we're definitely keeping those.

Because apparently we can spend an evening screwing around with Bender, Blinky, and AAARRRGGHH and walk away with another engineering question.
