At human hand level, a cylindrical metallic handle protrudes, with a circular rim base. Around it, arc-like scuff marks show repeated human use, while one diagonal scratch suggests a singular forceful contact. Above the handle, a thin horizontal slot is cut into the surface.
Mechanism:
Internally, the handle connects to a metallic bar/shaft that retracts a latch mechanism. Movement is rotational, then linear. Occasionally, the latch shows subtle resistance or misalignment.
Interior / Adjoining space:
Beyond the boundary lies a narrow rectilinear corridor, dimly lit, sterile, and controlled. The corridor channels movement straight through, with little sense of comfort or naturalness.
