I heard of him. He was an ex Scientologist. I read both of the books you mentioned. Super Scio was an intresting read, however nothing more than Science fiction in my view, but he believed it, poor guy was delusional. After writing the books he abandoned all his efforts of being a writer and researcher, in pursuit of romance and sex, was vocal about these things. He said he was once a researcher, now he wants to play the role of a "romantic piano player". He surely was creative but had boundry issues.
He died of suicide, hope he is in a better place now.

I agree that his books can be helpful for a lot of people, it helped my father to get out of the COS, and it helped me too at a certain point in my life, I'm greatful for that.

Ok. One question I don't want to answer. But.... fair enough.

One day I was looking out my 6th floor window and I heard a voice tell me to jump. This is weird because I'm not suicidal. This continued every time I looked out a window or went someplace high. I told Ken about it. He got very concerned. So he cs'd a solo session for me; assess for dropped out time. I found it.
2 men visited me one morning at 10 am, asked for a cup of soda, and sat down to chat. They weren't the stopping by to chat type so this was strange. We chatted about half hour and they left. When I looked at the clock it was almost 5 pm. I shrugged and went about my business.
I ran thru this incident a number of times. Here is what I found: They drugged my soda. After the fact I found Rohypnol in my kitchen. How did it get there? Anyway, they forced me to drink all the soda. Then they ordered me to commit suicide. Then they left.
The whole story is more detailed than that but that is all you are getting.

I am not and never have been a member of The Church of Scientology, so "good-standing" is a meaningless term. I'm a member of the Ron's Orgs, which is a group of Scientology Orgs in the "Freezone", which is basically Scientology outside the CoS. I don't know if you're aware, but in the early eighties, many of the most well-trained Scientologists were purged from the CoS because they protested against the new management's disregard for pretty much every ethical rule that LRH had proposed for Scientology. All of these people (if they're not dead) are now in the Freezone. In fact, there is a widely-believed although not proven theory in the Freezone that the CIA's employment of Ingo Swann in the early 70's and his successful demonstration to them of the validity of Astral Projection / Remote Viewing was the catalyst for the take-over of the CoS by suppressive forces (I won't speculate who they are but you can probably guess). Astral Projection / Remote Viewing is one of the abilites that a person gains (it's called Exteriorisation in Scientology) when they achieve the state of "Clear". It is further developed on OT levels 4-6. It may be noted that Ingo Swann completed up to OT7 in the CoS. "OT" means "Operating Thetan", which is a being that is able to operate independently of a body. A good indication of the current state of the CoS is that OT levels 4-6 are no longer available. I'm sure you can work out for yourself why that is.
