I know Courtney has said along the lines that politics will get more dire nomatter who gets elected, but wouldn't there be a way to find out which POTUS is more likely to sign with controlling ets?

Eg: where timeline 1 is currently the most likely scenario where POTUS signs with controlling ets, view the POTUS who signs and the scenario that draws them in.

If only one country signs the deal it is not going to be very effective. The US in particular is highly likely to already have other deals in place already. The real question is how to make it global or something close to it.

How about instead the target being a conference, meeting or gathering were Earth representatives convene to discuss signing the deals?

Another good one is who is already willingly allied to the authoritative ETs besides the US and how much of the US military is not since there seems to be factions in favor and against it.

Good points. I don't see why not try to point the finger who the hell works toward signing these contracts. Especially when it's us on the line and they're supposed to represent us.
