Yeah the lack of info is unsettling to me. When we meet humans that are strangers to us, there is always a period of information gathering before we decide to trust them, even if it comes in the form of good-vibes.

An outside idea that pops in my head from time to time could be that one of the plans by those pulling the strings is to "Unite all the weirdo factions." So they lie to each faction and say whatever is necessary so each faction goes along with the agenda. We are the "RV faction." Others are the "20 and back faction," the "bible is literal faction," etc. They can't give any faction too much info, because then it would invalidate the claims of a different faction. Dish out mostly lies with tiny bits of truth, until the agenda is complete and they don't need our support anymore and then, theoretically, they can lay out the whole truth without fear of alienating anyone. Just a wacky idea.

That's a legitimate idea. But I still would have questions: If they are technologically so advanced that we can't ever compete with them, why do they need our support now?

Good question. Then my brain pulls me toward the "Large groups can manifest their own destiny simply by desiring it," theory. But then, my personal experience invalidates this, at least on the individual scale. Individual prayer never seems to manifest. Could large group prayer be different?

Or if we accept the "One of the string-pulling groups is good and wants to help us" theory, then it appears that their method of helping us is to change our passivity into being pissed off enough to start speaking our minds and taking some kind of action. People like us have been too busy getting laughed at to take any action based on our beliefs... until the last 2 years or so.
