I hear you Del, I haven't found the thread you're looking for yet but I think I know which one you mean. Luckily I can narrow it down to only those with your pictogram beside it.

The search engine by keyword seems buggy. It seems even taking the whole forum onto a text file and just entering keyword searches from there are so much more effective than the search tool on the forum.

Nothing I'm going to bug Farsight about because in the balance between non-slave services vs lack of efficiency, vimeo is still superior.

But I hear some good record keepers do exactly that: take everything from everywhere that interests them and compile it into one mega textfile or rtf. I or someone might just do that with the forum. I'll let you know if I see the thread.

meanwhile Del about connecting dots... have you seen the Foundation series from Isaac Asimov that the free will so much talked about?! talking about seeing something that triggers past life memories, one after another, so much so that i question myself "was this also the purpose of them to reference The foundation series? to start trigger something in us?"
While i was trying to understand the notion about large numbers and also about psycho history i couldn't stop thinking about their agenda to create a library of/with infinite knowledge from the universe, a library with every knowledge of the universe, ring a bell?! about one of your discussions about it?!
Also in reference of this last project about A.I. embryo, was amazing to see that in the series they talk about how the Empire was created after the great war between humans and A.I. robots 10.000 years ago.
