Why were we created the way we are?

We have a lot of good qualities that appear to be at odds with many out there.

How can we ever fit and have a place out there?

Follow-up question:

If physical presence of guards is not relevant in the context of ‘bad ET’ actions, why does Courtney see hundreds of guards standing at the beach when he meets with Harvey? Is Courtney misinterpreting the situation?
