I just wanted to share a message to the world that ... despite all of the people who claim to govern and protect you being child rapist killers ...

the thing is, we just need to get along.

Everyone, put your differences aside and love one another. Don't carry machine guns, or create molotov cocktails. Don't hurt people. And forgive all the bad things that people do.

Listen. The cable tv media will come around. They are not bought off entirely. They're really working hard to give you facts. The banks are trying to come up with a fair and decent system it's just that the world has gotten so complicated.

Law enforcement is there for you and the legal system is just the best thing we could come up with so far. Don't fight. Help your fellow man. And most importantly, trust that if we all just trust the science and the world health organization, our problems will all be solved.

I know it's sarcasm, but I need to say this to make things clear:

"And forgive all the bad things that people do."

If you forgive a bad thing, and the other person uses your forgiveness to do the bad thing again, you're stuck in a vicious cycle. So, who could want you to forgive bad things without the promise to not repeat the bad thing?

If your brain can't process double negatives: Who wants you to forgive bad things while at the same time accepting that the bad things are allowed to happen again?

Yes I'm on board about that "forgiveness" piece. Amnesty is different.

I'm not clinging to literal definition for the monent but it's a bit like this ...

Forgiveness is like "forget everything. Don't worry." Why? Memory has value. Worry has value too, in proper doses.

Amnesty is like: "we put aside these particular transgressions and their details. We will be dealing with them later when we're in a better position to."

Those of us with a real desire for justice would never say no to amnesty. We would want to answer to our own crimes when the time came.

Those that insist on forgiveness rather than amnesty ... that's a red flag right there.
