| DEFINITIONS INDEX FOR FARSIGHT-ORIENTED |
| DISCUSSION |
+================================================+
This thread is a curated index of definition-focused threads.
Its purpose is to improve:
1 :: clarity
2 :: continuity
3 :: discovery
The goal is to make important terms easier to find, easier to compare,
and easier to discuss without constantly restarting from scratch.
+----------------+
| 1 :: WHAT THIS IS
+----------------+
This thread is for:
A :: indexing threads that define a specific term
B :: identifying terms that need clearer treatment
C :: helping members find past discussion more easily
D :: supporting clearer discussion going forward
This thread is NOT for:
A :: long personal cosmologies
B :: broad origin stories
C :: symbolic or mythic narratives without a definitional focus
D :: extended debates inside the index itself
If a term deserves discussion, it should have its OWN THREAD.
This thread is the index, not the discussion space.
+---------------------+
| 2 :: HOW TO CONTRIBUTE
+---------------------+
There are 3 ways to contribute:
1 :: SUBMIT AN EXISTING THREAD
If a useful term-specific thread already exists, post it here so it can
be added.
2 :: CREATE A NEW DEFINITION THREAD
If you want to start a thread defining a term, do so, then post the link
here for indexing.
3 :: REQUEST A THREAD
If you think a term needs its own thread but do not want to create one,
you can request it here.

| 4 :: GUIDELINES
+---------------+
Please try to keep submissions aligned with the following:
A :: Focus on one term at a time.
B :: Use clear language.
C :: Prefer minimal assumptions.
D :: Distinguish definition from theory.
E :: Note when a term is contested or used in multiple ways.
F :: Keep long cosmological narratives in separate threads.
+-------------------+
| 4A :: CATEGORISATION
+-------------------+
Categories are navigation aids, not fixed doctrines.
The purpose of categorisation is to make terms easier to find.
A term is placed where it seems most useful and intuitive to look for
first.
Current category logic:
CORE METHOD :: terms about the remote viewing process itself
CONSCIOUSNESS / IDENTITY :: terms about self, mind, memory, or being
HUMAN CONDITION / CONTROL :: terms about manipulation, confinement, post-death systems, or coercive structures
PERCEPTION / ENERGETICS LANGUAGE :: terms used to describe states, signals, fields, or energetic interpretation
INTERFERENCE / INFLUENCE :: terms about disruption, steering, suppression, or distortion
CONTESTED OR AMBIGUOUS TERMS :: terms whose meaning is unstable enough that clarification is the priority
If a term could fit more than one category, it will usually be placed
where a reader is most likely to look for it first.
If needed, a term can later be:
A :: moved
B :: cross-listed
C :: noted as contested
The goal is usability, not a perfect taxonomy.
+------------------+
| 5 :: CURATION NOTE
+------------------+
I will update this index when time allows.
Priority will be given to terms that are:
A :: frequently used
B :: often used inconsistently
C :: central to ongoing discussion
D :: likely to improve clarity across multiple threads
+----------------------+
| 6 :: THREAD STRUCTURE
+----------------------+
POST 1 :: purpose, templates, contribution rules
POST 2 :: main index
POST 3 :: open terms, aliases, status legend
+-----------------+
| 7 :: CLOSING NOTE
+-----------------+
The purpose of this thread is not to create a final dictionary.
It is to make discussion more cumulative, more precise, and easier to
navigate.
